The Cheltenham Association Football League is based in and around Cheltenham, providing league football for teams in a 30 mile radius of the Town. From its humble beginnings in 1900, the league now boasts 4 divisions, comprising of more than 50 teams and is a feeder league for the Gloucestershire Northern Senior League.

The league will now be featured in the new, free, local paper The Cheltenham Post. The post launched in November 2020 and a new edition is out fortnightly
You will have seen the recent announcement of Gloucestershire moving to Tier 4 and Worcestershire moving to Tier 3. This means there is no grassroots football permitted in Tier 4 areas so all games are off until we get another announcement and of course the League Officers will keep updated on this as I am sure you will. In Tier 3, Worcestershire teams can play against Worcestershire teams, unless of course there are players coming from Tier 4 areas, which they cannot.
John H and Martin will work on the fixtures and the referees appropriately. Hopefully we can get through this and then commence our football again as soon as it is deemed safe to do so.
Happy New Year to you all and stay safe Of course if the situation changes, (Worcestershire goes to Tier 3, or Gloucestershire returns to Tier 2), then we will review this accordingly.
